Looked pretty awful paint alright

I'm doing similar though a lot less work than the cab, on my bedroom window while it's raining, just stripped the woodchip paper off which was quite easy, probably been on 50 years, next is window sill with paint stripper which is cheap stuff I used on the Star Wars, getting it ready and then when it's not raining I can resize the secondary window frame to fit the opening and cut down the siding panels to fit frame

This was a bit tricky - the panel had been populated but not in a very user friendly way so blanked out and welded and cut some new holes . I like the 6 button configuration used on a lot of electrocoin stf2 cabinets .
Great thing is you can use temporary button blanks and then have Neo geo.
Was well worth doing.

Who did the welding work? meant to ask before
A friend of mine helped with that, he did an incredible job as hard to weld such thin steel without distortion. Really pleased with the layout as versatile for everything.
Will post some more of the xenon panels - one 6 button layout , another Neo geo .

Looking Good, be great to see this Actual cab rather than just one on a flyer :)

Phone Cards :cautious: how differently i look at things these days, just another tip toe to getting people to not use cash?

I've got a challenge here for paint stripping, someone painted some speakers white, I found them while moving things to sort bedroom window.

I am fond of these kinda ugly local jamma cabs. They got a certrain charm and you are doing a good job bringing it back
Appreciate your feedback mate !
Obviously big fan of Electrocoin hence why I have laboured over it to such an extent. It is more than likely one of only a handful ever made so wanted to preserve it and restore to factory settings. I love the aesthetic and feel of the cabinet, well designed and think it is going to play very well. Even some of my friends who know my love for this type of thing and restoration have been blown away by the progress and the story of it. The reactions have been a mixture of ‘you’re mad! ‘ wonder, doubt and also a lot of support from people on here which is the main thing. Nice to surprise people and bring things back to life.
