Being a total noob can you please explain how this works - I donate an item (I've a few PCBs I'd be happy to pass on), and then if I get picked I select something from the pool? If so I'd love to be in!

You aren't obliged to donate a prize. You can just purely enter the draw if you want. But a donation helps!

I was going to respond with the same thing, but also having a 'trade' tombola (i.e. where the participants all have to donate a PCB and everyone wins, and what they win depends on what number they are picked out of the hat) is a good idea.

EDIT: sent a PM to a mod here and on J+ to see if it is OK to run.
