I have 20 16GB USB 2.0 sticks that are locked from being written to. It's not a simple jumper on these they will require unlocking via software.
I previously unlocked over 100 of these which had SMI chips with some SMI software the last 20 have Alcor chips which I couldn't manage to unlock.
It's been so long since I was looking at this 4-5 years and they've just been sitting under my desk.
I may have got as far as finding the Alcor software but I can't really remember..
If anyone can lead me to unlocking them I'll gladly part with half of them. Some of them could potentially get bricked by trying things out so the number you receive will be half of what survives not necessarily 10 although I'll happily send you any bricked sticks.
