Don't know what I've done but I just cant get MAMEWah to run.

I click on it the screen rez drops to what looks like 640x480 goes black with text saying that it can't find any games. Then back to the desktop.

I've been into the part that you need to edit and pointed it to where the roms and the emu is saved. I know I must be doing something wrong but just cant see what.

System is runing XP Home SP2 installed the system files then installed MAMEWah.

Anyone else had this happen?

Im using Gameex on my Groovymame setup, not tinkered with it much....it did play video previews but I turned that off as I couldnt be bothered with them.... much happier now with still images.

+10 from me !

I find this simple to setup and paid £25 for a license as thought developer had done a good job.

As I dont pay for software very often shows how much I liked it.

I find hyperspin too much of pain in ass.

Sorry, I didn't see this at the time! I expect you've either figured it out or moved to a different FE now anyway but...

There is a file generated called 'mamewah.log'. If you open that in a text editor it should give you an idea of the problem causing it to quit.

Agreed..... for me its all about speed of menu navigation...if there is the slightest hesitation whilst a front end is trying to kick off a video clip of a game I happen to hesitate on I am already irritated with it !
