Funny white marks on control panel

Hi
I’ve got these white marks (burns?) on a cab panel. I’ve tried rubbing isopropyl into but no difference. Maybe if I sanded it lightly w grey/finishing paper?
Any tips would be great.

These are burn spots from cigarettes. You#ll have to sand and re polish that plexi. Or leave it like this. Is part of the better times.

Thanks. I’ll take some gentle sandpaper to it tomorrow. How does one polish flexi - would you do it like furniture ?

Novus 1 2 3 works well on acrylic but not recommended for polycarbonate. I'm not sure how to tell what your panel is made of, tbh.
