"Stupid expensive"

Looking at completed ebay items, am I alone in thinking that £60 for a GameCube and £15-£40 each for the best games is fine? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Some cracking £100 bundles recently too. Or avoid original, Modchips are a few quid and the SD card launcher options are great these days. Cheaper still, £20 for a Wii, softmod and attach a USB drive.

In fairness it was a sweeping statement, the consoles themselves aren't usually bad but the games are fetching a fair amount. It comes back to whether you want to play, or collect in my mind.

I dropped £20-30 on Earthworm Jim for my wife a few months back, could have emulated it but given the love for that game specifically it was worth it to me.

@pubjoe @Venom - I actually take it back, last time I looked GameCube wise it was at the bum end of the pandemic, possibly even during, just started poking around and there are some decent eBay deals you're right @pubjoe worth a look.

Edit - Thinking cex have had to lower their prices on them so it's has a knock on effect, they're putting them out for £75-120 which is a lot less than our local has done them recently

I looked at Gamecube games and the ones I want are expensive !!
I'll either play them on my wii or my coinops TBH, unless see a decent bundle with games I would want !

I am seeing some decent prices at cex for my other stuff , I got a star wars game for n64 the other week £8 and they have a Snes street fighter 2 turbo for £12 hope to still be there this week !! For my Megadrive the everdrives are so cheap I have not bought any games with that , but a few decent ones came with it.
