And someone managed to get a million quid in backing to prevent someone having a sensor on a TV.
Worlds gone f#*king mad!
Glad you’re pleased with your purchase though.
On the other hand, here is a guy who has had a good idea, worked it all out for himself, spent loads of time on designing and prototyping etc, and had the bollocks to see it all through to production - I love it when I see things like this working out...
Better this than someone getting hundreds of thousands in compensation because they are traumatised by someone referring to them by the wrong pronoun, which seems to be a very profitable way of getting ahead in the current world...
I’d agree with you on some of this. Yes good idea, yes did the work designing and prototyping fair play.
But had the bollocks to see it through to production? Hmmm
Having real balls would be going to a bank and saying I’ve got this great idea here’s my market research lend me a million quid and I’ll take the risk.
I’ve never thought this fund me or whatever was anymore than someone who didn’t want to back themselves taking a gamble with someone else’s money. I’m actually amazed anyone does it.
Not that it’s the guys fault, and I wasn’t saying the chap who designed it was at fault here he’s obviously designed something people want.
But why on earth would people pay someone a million quid for someone to have a punt on it? I just never understood the concept of go fund me.
As I say, fair play to the guy glad he’s got something going that works it must be an immense sense of pride.
I’m just shocked the removal of the sensor bar is valued as a million pound idea.neoretro2020-09-18 15:15:03
