Hi everybody

I've been an arcade collector/hobbyist since 2009 and so far I've been lurking on the net on the

Jamma+ -forum only. Since my sparetime has increased a lot lately, I thought I'd poke my ugly nose

to another arcade-related forum aswell

My total collection consists of approximately 22 cabs, stored away. They're mainly driving

games, Taito Top Speed / Final Lap / Final Lap 3 / Virtua Racing / etc. I got Chase HQ restoration-

project at a halt status for now, upstairs in our house and an Atari Gauntlet -restoration & repairs-

project right here in my gameroom. (On monday night me and my friend concluded a 28 hours

Gauntlet restoration+repairs "marathon", was fun

)

I work as a service manager in a computer company but I have time off from work until the end of

August or so and I'm using the time to start up my own company dealing with everything

reproducable from the 80's and/or related to arcades (sidearts/posters/flyers etc). Progress is slow

but good things come to those who wait, I'd like to think. At least so far it has been very very true

in all my arcade-related endeavors

Hi Toni and welcome along! Get your details into the Member Collections area, 22 cabs is a tidy number of cabs!

Good to know that the 720 got to you intact. Have you already tried powering it up / fixing it ?

DanP: Thank you, will be doing that in the near future, yes.

Connors, forcefulfil & IDCHAPPY: Thank you, feels good to be onboard

- The Hantarex was necked -> replaced with a capkitted Wells-Gardner K7601 rescued from the recycling centre couple of years ago. Had to do some work in order to get it installed to the Gauntlet mounting frame.

- When powered, all the PSU and ARIII outputs were practically perfect but there was only black image on screen and the game didn't coinup -> reseated all the chips and the game began to accept coinsignals and play blind

- I realized that I had used the white (Hantarex-type) connector to connect the video signal to the WG. Fixed two loose wires back to the red connector, connected it to the WG and powered up

Is there a limit here I didn't notice for PM'ing, since I cannot PM you, Alpha1 ?
