hi m8 im in cornwall also

can u tell me, do you know anyone, anywhere etc where i can buy a basic/jamma cab in cornwall? condition is not important, and if it came down to it i dont need any games included, and possibly wont need a monitor either, in fact i could prob live without controls if necessary also (at worst i just need an empty cab, totally gutted if necessary!)

No idea mate. I'm just a player really. As much as I would love to purchase some cabs I'm actually kind of poor buddy ( violins ). I joined the site hoping to find somewhere to play old school games (I'm 42). I know a guy down here that was an operator years ago. Going to see if he still has some machines to play. I know I can play them on consoles but it's not the same. Good luck dude

There was an Arcadebarn down near you way but I think they have closed up. Nearest place for you is now Ravs - I think he's having an open day at his private arcade sometime later in July/August.

I was going to say something about this site not being like that but then thought maybe not...

...Although @ around £85 a cab, maybe Martin should change his username, its sinful

If money was there i'd get a Mr.Do, Tron and an Astron Belt. I played these the most back when I was a kid. I would love a dedicated Tekken Machine...4 or above. Every time I find a source they have either burned them or smashed them up.
I went to one of the storage units of the operator I mentioned..Most of the old stuff gone. Never heard of most of the cabs in there now. Took some vid on my phone. Will upload it. Its disappointing though

Welcome to the forum, I am sure there are many cabs scattered across holiday camps locked away in storage in the west. I am heading down to see my parent in August, think there is an arcade in St Ives with a fair few videos, but nothing particularly old skool. Get the picks up of the op with cabs in storage for sure!
