Groovymame help please

Ok so a few games added I want
So had to update my old xp64
To win 7

I’m using a hanty polo 2
Not bothered about dual res stuff
So can just set it up as arcade_15

Just set it up
Don’t think I’ve done super res somehow as Wonderboy for example
Is a 256x224 game

And switch res is going to
512x224?

I thought it was supposed to pick
2560 x 224
?

What am I doing wrong
Is there a great guide somewhere ?

Ok 2 steps further
1 step back

Got super res working

Before I even add confusion of a front end

Opened command prompt

Ran mame64.exe wboy

It used the 2560x240 res
Played 100% perfect

Then tried wbmlvcd which is the main reason I did this all again
Monitor goes blank
Can’t even exit into windows just have to reset

?

The only thing I can think of is I think I have a merged mame rom set
Meaning wbml is the parent rom
And the other roms are within it
Could this be why?

The rom is playing though but blind
I can coin up and hear it playing??

Weird
Do I just need to get a split set??
Or anything anyone can think of?

It’s like the res it picks is out of sync

But from memory they use the same driver and resolution
So really if one works the other should
Going to try wboy again tomorrow
Just to rule out a new monitor fault?

Found a post saying extend desktop could have activated
Will check that tomorrow
