and a Minature mame cab for my son

Before this gets out of hand and becomes a real internet lulz drama, can we stamp on it please? Cools posted an amusing thread in a public area (which I initially thought was dev team only) saying that Retromax should be banned if he starts mentioning U250s. With a great big smiley next to it. I found it funny as Retromax had posted many, many U250 related posts elsewhere that some people found funny and others didn't. Not that cools would or could ban you - he's just a member like everybody else.
Retromax - if you want to be a martyr then you're in the wrong forum. My post about wiping the slate clean and judging people by their actions from this point forwards is pretty representative of the board feeling I think. I suppose you could try "I went to ukvac.com and they hounded me out" but if you're planning on going down that track I hope you stop now. I sincerely hope you joined here in good faith and with the intentions of participating as an active member of the community.
Nothing more, nothing less. No conspiracy, no cabal. They don't do disappearing threads round here so everything is available for people to read for themselves, but after all the recent sh*t and the amount it's detracted for what we're actually here for - collecting and restoring the games we all love - then please can this just be dropped and we get back to the hobby?

It was made as an easter pressie for my little boy a few years back, it's made from MDF and has a 15" PC monitor which works in proportion as it's only a little cab.
It's in no way a work of art but it's something I could have only dreamed about as a kid.
Hmmm, I do have a couple of 14" VGA monitors kicking about so that's an interesting idea. As you say it's something we could only have dreamed of as kids. My kids are only young so I've got a couple of years to work on it

How did you get the cuts done? It looks like some could have been done with a table saw and others with a router, but no matter how many clamps and guides I use I always end up with wavy lines etc.
BTW have you seen Vic's repro cab project - http://www.taitotrimlineremake.blogspot.com/ ? Not all of us are so lucky to have a workshop full of CNC machines
