Hello all,

Nice to finally join the place! I'm currently enjoying my mid-life crisis by buying loads of NeoGeo stuff. Despite having pretty much all of the games on the Saturn there's a real kick to having the proper arcade hardware to enjoy it with. I'm currently using a consolized MVS1FZ and I have a 4-slot waiting to be used... one day.

The dream is to have an American MVS cabinet as I love the design of them in particular. Although that seems a bit far off, I'll keep an eye out for sure!

Welcome to the forum!
I have a UK boxed Gold system AES which i spent years tracking down as the majority of consoles here in the UK are japanese.
im building my cart collection up slowly and im only going for the titles i will play.
Im after a consolized mvs myself, and see the stupid prices being charged from ebay sellers in italy and portugal, so keeping my eyes open for one.

Welcome to the forum!
I have an American MVS cabinet, it's really nice. I used to own the Electrocoin 6 Slot and to be honest that's awesome as well.
Oh it's a beauty! I should have more nostalgia for the Electrocoin ones as that's what I played on back in the day, but there's something about that red design!
Thank you all for the warm welcome :)

Not sure if you're after a 1 slot or multi slot but It's easy to buy a simple kit off AliX to connect into the Jamma 1 slot and a case so all the AV, power, DB15/Saturn pads are plug and play. You can then put something together quite cheaply.

I consolized a 2 slot many years ago which is still going strong but it's then a PITA if the board dies or you have to amend something. TBH I much prefer to use an all in one Jamma loom I put together for any 2/4 slot. Add a simple adapter to use it on any 1 slot/Jamma board too. I've just got another 1 slot and with the adapter and 4 pin plugs it's fool proof to use stereo on the MV1C or mono on non MVS Jamma baords. It has the standard AES AV 8 pin DIN but with stereo on the un-needed pins (comp video/mono) and then use spare pins on the DB15 to add coin buttons to the controller. An XLR 3 pin for the 5v/12v to the power supply and a 3.5mm stereo out for 'phones/speakers etc.

Welcome to the forum !

Plenty of Neo Geo Love on here that’s for sure ❤️
I started off with Electrocoin’s 4slot (still my favourite) and picked up a few other Neo geo cabinets along the way. The Big Reds are lovely and lesser spotted on this side of the pond.

Thanks for the advice Max. Im after a 1 slot. I may end up buying one of the consolized mvs that look like an AES from Les Express du Ali.. im looking to use a modern tv with a scart to hdmi converter as my screen, and i have many spare controllers from SNK, so they arent a problem..will post some pics of my current collection, controllers, etc if people are interested.I have also started 3d printing video game related figures. heres my first go at Terry
