There’s 3 parts to this loom. A basic 2 pin cable to Amp up for start button, a 6 pin jst from the Amp to the Sega IO board and a 4pin jst from the amp to the analogue stick.

Sorry that’s slightly wrong way round. The 6pin jst is to the stick and the 4pin jst is to the Sega IO.

You can make the start button one really easy. It’s just 2 spade connectors on the start button and they go to (check this) pin 1 and 12 on a 12 pin amp up connector into the front socket where your standard control panel look would plug in.

The 4 pin jst is from the op amp to the Sega IO. I’ll find a link.

If you Google Xed and mirko there’s a massive thread with pics etc that I got my info from. My panel is 99% complete just never got my head round where to solder the 6 wires to on the 2 analogue pots so if you have a pic of how that goes to the 6 pin jst it would be a massive help!

I’ve done my own thread

6 wires to analogue port on the io

V.c.c x2
Analouge x or y
And ground

Amp only puts out 4 wires because v.c.c and commons are combined

And grounds are combined .

I’ve put the schematics on my thread
John bennet also made the repro for olly muddy music arcade art shop

I’ve just made these for someone in the USA. If you still need them let me know. Buying the parts individually to make the wiring is costly (but I have already done that).
I think I’ve made mine correctly but would love to see the one you made and perhaps buy it if mine is a load of crap! 💩

He wasn’t using the OP amp in this case so the ends of analog cable are bare. I have supplied him with the appropriate contacts and headers if he needs them once he’s set it up. This gives you an idea of the harness though.
