Hi again when the red bulb is not lit there is no power going to the board and now I've put a new fuse in not even the red bulb lights up only the yellow.one stays on thanks for being.so.patient with me i am really new to this thanks again for all your help i really appreciate it

Ok so that kind of confirms that you have a power issue?

Is the fuse exactly the same rating as the one you removed that was blown?

Most things are fixable. Are you still getting power to the monitor?

You need clearer pictures, the ones you've posted are too dark or blurry. Pictures around the power area, especially of that possible power board

Can you trace where the wires go from the transformer?

Obviously think safety. Don't do this with the power switched on

Do you know about monitor safety?

I think you still need to meter the power going into the board. The fact that the new fuse hasn't blown in no way proves that the power is ok.

For example, your power supply unit may be outputting 7 volts into the board. This wouldn't blow a fuse, but would knacker the board - hence coming on for a bit then going off...

Just a quick one I've taken the little board out with the fuses on it and it says vg 001 on it and the fuse leads to a purple wire witch then goes to the multi plug and turned to two black wires if.it helps MORE TO.COME
