[ukvac] Hyper Sports to JAMMA - Tech.
Hi
I am about to convert a Konami Hyper Sports PCB
for use with a JAMMA cabinet, and have already
received great help from people on this group.
I have just two minor technical questions which will
enable me to complete this conversion.
1) The Hyper Sports Pinouts state that the Parts and Solder
side for Pin 2 represent 'Speaker Out'
On a JAMMA Cabinet they are represented by Pin 10 Parts and Solder Sides
as 'Speaker (-) and 'Speaker (+)'
Which side of Pin 2 on the HS PCB is +ve and which is -ve?
Does it matter if they are connected back to front?
2)Similarly, Pin 7 on the Parts Side of the HS PCB is
annotates as 'SERVICE'
What does this correspond to on the JAMMA connection?
Is it Test Switch, Tilt Switch or neither?
Many Thanks
Jason
