I thought about that but after paying over 50 quid and this seller being a prize dooch I really think I need to source another console..... ( I just cant afford to do this until I get a refund ) The case is after all, trashed..... I don't want to start spending time fixing the poor girl if im only going to have to return her. Also, I never considered maintenance when I bought her so don't have the relevant security bits..... could probably do with purchasing some of them though for the future.... If ebay make the wrong decision and I cant get a refund ( should find out on the 20th ) I'll buy the security bits and do just that... Thanks for all the advice everyone, Its a pleasure being involved with such a sterling group of such friendly people. Cheers

Well, EBAY have finally intervened and have emailed me a return postage label (so it wont cost me anything) and as soon as its scanned as received by the seller ( as its recorded ) I'll be receiving a refund in full..... Such a drama!!!!
I'm currently down south visiting my sister so will be making a visit to Playnation Games in Croydon as they sell loads of retro gear.

Fingers crossed I'll be a able to pick up another console for the right price from a seller who's not a complete d*ck

Where down south are you mate?

if you want one in time for xmas, you can borrow my test machine if you like? I won't be using it over xmas and it has the switchless region mod on it too.

Just post it back when you get one yourself?

EDIT - I think i've found a spare copy of Starwing too. The case is taped together but i'm sure it works. I'll test it tonight. If you borrow the console you can pick this up too and keep it.

Starfox 2 and SoM2 are reproduction carts. I've made a few back in the day but they are expensive to make unfortunately. However they are bleedin good games!

Just thought, you ever considered Illusion of Time? If you like Secret of Mana.

Ive never played it, any good?
Im trying to save some pennies so I can get a copy of the first Mana and Metroid.... I wasted so many hours on those when I was a kid, I cant believe how much loose carts of Metroid are these days on ebay!

Just got a boxed copy of Super R Type though

The SNES is home to most of the best RPGs and the last great era of platform games too (infact Actraiser is kinda a great mix of the 2), I sometimes even just put PLOK on for the music

If you are struggling to get games you could always pick up a Wildcard or Super UFO to tide you over till they appear.

Nobody has yet mentioned Mario Cart or Castlevania?

If you get a converter or mod the console you might as well also get the japanese version of Castlevania which would be alot cheeper than the pal release. Castlevania XX also I think.

I don't have the second one yet but really like the first one. Played it first time this fall.
