digital recorders are better for storing straight to hard drive
scart recording is vhs

maybe you can buy a analog to digital recording i have an analog way
and i have a divio i believe these can except analog and convert on board to digital
and visa versa

If this works as a passthrough I would just keep everything connected to the cab and run a scart to my ossc then into my capture card...
