Just got delivery of a Konami Windy 2 from Japan and trying to get it going.
When turned on it has no sound when a pcb is plugged in (it has the jamma adapter) and no image. There is neck glow and I am getting power to the pcb, I’ve verified both the 5v and 12v
I was thinking it wasn’t a monitor issue as there is no sound also but unsure. I’m going to dig out a vga adapter tonight and see if I can get an image to an hdmi monitor at the point it plugs into the chassis to rule out all the wiring and adapter board etc but any other suggestions?
Oh and also keys are missing, everything is open bar the control panel which I think I will need to drill the two locks out to access
I did pull all the cables and reseat them just incase and I cleaned the jamma pcb edge and also tried another board just incase the one that came with it has an issue but no joy
The speakers do buzz if I touch the two speaker connectors so I don’t think they are broken as such
