Absolutely disgusting.

I have tweeted this "@littlewoods Why are your #PS4 and #XboxOne consoles a whopping £100 over RRP? Shame on you!!!"

they have replied, but if anyone fancies retweeting me - or just tweeting the above yourself from your account I say GO FOR IT!

People who either can't qualify for a £350 loan or are too stupid to work out they can get a 38 week £350 loan for far less than £100 in interest charges.

If it's the former; they really shouldn't be buying a £350 games console in the first place (doesn't the Department of Work & Pensions dish them out for free to Jeremy Kyle "guests" anyway).
If it's the latter; how to they expect to work out how to switch it on, when it arrives.

Just read a story about the possible shortages, I assumed it was the usual marketing ploy to make people rush out & panic buy them, looks like for the first time ever I will pick up the ps4 at Lincoln's game & walk directly next door to sell to cex for hopefully a slight profit, I'm really not bothered enough to keep the ps4 & will just rebuy one when the panic dies down & some good deals appear next year

Our Buyers try to find the best prices for our customers, we also offer affordable payment terms to spread your payments...

It's the old argument about mail order catalogues.

They're really only for people who can't get finance.

They're also not much better than loan sharks or the pay-day loan companies that advertise on TV.

Using the Amazon & Currys price (£349) as a guide (to work out how much the Littlewoods "Interest Free" actually costs for the £439 they charge for the console)...

Buying a PS4 from Littlewoods, via their "Interest Free" option is akin to buying one from Currys (at the real price of £349) and taking a loan out at 54% APR.

It's even cheaper to use a credit card (providing the starting balance is zero) and paying the £349 off within a year!!!!

Maybe the Littlewoods rep would like to answer that one (how their buyer sourced "best buy" on interest free credit is the same as buying one from Currys on a 54% APR finance deal)?
