Well,
This cab has taken me over 2 years to build! Its been great fun tracking all the parts down for it,and rebuilding/restoring the ones i had chased from the other side of the world too!

I also had to improvise and make some till i find them.

I got the cab from a forum member Steve, nice one dude.i repaired some vector monitor boards for him and paid i think £80? correct me if im wrong Steve.

It was a bare shell almost and had been converted to play Asteroids, but it was originally a Lunar Lander

I wanted this back to original, and next to my Asteroids.

So the chase began to get all the parts, the worst 2 to get were indeed the pcb,and the thruster.

some of the art/cpo/marque even side art have been reproduced now anyway, and pcb,s do show on KLOV and seem to hit good money.

I had a brick/AR2/monitor already so i rebuilt these ready.

i converted the loom back from Asteroids to Lunar Lander, but was missing the CPO loom from the multi plug under the panel,id have to make this in situ.

The pcb was from Alpha1 and was kindly repaired by Guddler (thx guys)

The thruster was from Arcadefixit.com but i had to make the thruster assembly myself again till i find one.

Control panel was from Mr Archer Mclean

I have the thruster here now but have to build the holder from scratch!

That's awesome stuff, it shows what's possible if you put enough time and effort (and cash) into it.
I don't think I've played this game on original hardware before. Those capacitors are massive!

Interesting speaker array on your Dragon's Lair control panel

Fantastic!
Dim and distant memories of playing a LL in my early teens in some random arcade near Hambleton, I remember loving the thrust controller, so different to most other stuff at the time.
