I’m missing a de mag cable around my
Tube as it is not an original hanterex tube ..

I have purchased from swallow amusements the 2pin connectors.

And I see the 2 x 2 pin connecters
One for momentary switch or bridged for degause on power up,

If I wanted to make one ..What recommend gauge wire to use for
The degause wire ? Thnx

Not sure I understand. The degaussing 'wire' around the tube is a coil, not a simple wire. The coil creates a magnetic field when current is passed through it. It would be difficult to make one, I would think.

I admit I assumed it would have to be a coil. 🤷‍♂️ I'm no electronics expert.
Nor me lol, never opened one up and thats only pics can find and google says same
then you have these which must just be one big loop wrapped around for cheap degauss tool

Unless you removed it by accident, assuming it's the crt from that Fidelity TV you had with the damaged case, being as it's a colour crt it should've had a degaussing ring already there.

Imagine the tube size has to be pretty close ..

I will check my
Tube tomorrow incase I actually does have one already ..

I should have done that already .. before asking ! But I think I’m asking because I already subconsciously must have seen it missing .. I think !

Some of the degaussing loops on tv tubes tend to be thinner and in two halves,as opposed to one big loop,the samsung tv’s I pinched the tubes from recently,both had the thinner type
