Love, love, LOVE this soundtrack.
I know a lot of people don't give soundtracks the light of day but I listen to them more than regular music. The majority of music on my iphone is soundtracks.
When I say soundtracks, I mean the music score. Not a movie made up of chart music. It's the classical score I'm talking about.
To me, the soundtrack is just as important as the actual movie. 50/50 split.
This music score was done by Hans Zimmer. I have a soft spot for Hans Zimmer. Love what he does. From Gladiator to the Dark Knight trilogy. Then you look back a little further to movies like True Romance.
Everyone will know little "dittys" from music scores as they're used in adverts, reality tv shows etc.....but they just don't give the full soundtracks the light of day.
I have a friend who is totally oblivious to what music is used in movies. To him, it's all in the eyes.
With Man Of Steel, I think the music is better than the actual movie
