Ive got two issues with some NOS meanwell psu's
1) D-50
has gnd1, V1, gnd2, V2 and is supposed to output 5V & 12V.
I'm getting 5.02V across the first two outputs and 11.82V on the second two.
But if I use V1, gnd1, V2 I get no 12V.
Do i have to join the two gnds together or are the outputs totally seperate?
2) T-85
Works fine with my test loads but goes into some form of shutdown protection in my supergun when no pcb connected. But works fine with a pcb connected.
I think this is due to the protection circuit in the psu.
I think ive got a workaround for this by connecting a resistor across gnd & v1 to simulate about 1W of load which keeps the psu working even without a pcb connected.
