Minecraft PC recommendations

My Boy is 5! And told me that he wants a PC to play minecraft on because his tablet cannot run mods!!! He's 5
Anyway it's really not my bag is minecraft but can you recommend a mini or micro PC that would be good enough to run Minecraft at a decent fps? Will it work ok with an intergrated gpu?
I'd have got him an xbox360 but I doubt you can mid that either.

I've got access to OS's HDDs etc so barebones PCs are fine

My setup isnt the greatest and i get a solid 120fps @ 1080p

I have a q6700 cpu, 8gb ram and a 2gb nvidia gtx770 running 8.1 x64

2nd Gen i3 with 1GB graphics card and 4GB ram seems to run it fine.

Probably can run it on even lower spec PC to be fair.

i3 is recomended but i have run it on a 2.5ghz c2d

hmm I was thinking more like a Nuc or Brix sized PC
