He's just starting with this stuff, so I doubt he is having another jamma board.

In case it's the board, if you disconnect the video signal and turn up the THT screen voltage, shouldn't you see a gray surface filling the whole picture tube area? If that's to small as well, wouldn't that mean there is an issue with the video chassis?

Hi
Yeah unfortunately I dont pocess another jamma board. Altho will start collection in future. I will try and blow dust off but will have to do with a can of air or something. I bought myself a multimeter and tested most of the caps and noticed the big one on the uppermost part of board in first pic shows no reading. Also which ever way I test the caps I.e ground on ground and ground on + it gives a reading on all other caps. Is this normal. I think im doing it right. It said online to test on ohms just above 100 the only one on my meter that is close iS 200. Ive contacted the real bob Roberts in us he doesn't think there is a cap kit for this board and they dont ship to uk anyway !! Im I screwed ????

First one is 100uF 160V

Second one is 33uF 50V

The voltage of the new ones should be equal or higher.

You also have different sizes. Some, with the same parameters are longer and smaller.

(They need to fit in the place of the ones that come out.)

The expected lifetime is not always advertised. Basically, the bigger the better.

Most important are the value and the voltage.
