Mortal Kombat 2 Side Art

have recreated the side art for Mortal Kombat 2 if anyone needs it fire me a PM.

Having noticed the ones available were somehwat lacking and lots of contract clipping was apparent in Raidens coat and the clouds I decided to start from scratch using a mixture of what assets were good and creating new pieces. Let me know what you think. The upload is pretty low res so apologies

hi, my eagle eye has spotted the dragons and shading appear to be different from each other. Is one pic an original print compared to your print?
My raiden took a beating and was scratched by a door handle so I could do with a replacement but it needs to be as good as what is already on the machine mate :)

the one on the left is the one thats for sale on eBay etc and available online quite easily. The one on the right has had the colours fixed, new assets for the MK logo and dragon, new assets for the clouds etc. Raiden also has a lot more detail as was used from another image. The Raiden isn't as clean as I would like but the colours are more accurate than the one thats already available.

If you could take some extremely clean hi res pics of your side art I can use it to fix up what I have done already and provide your the hi res finished art.

Also to add, because there is a photo of a character, clouds etc with out the original assets from Midway it will never look as good as the original. Basic artwork is always simple to recreate near on identical, something like MK artwork not so much.

Here's a close up of some of the original artwork, as you can see this is a lot more detailed then what you have. Not saying your's isn't original but it may be there are regional variations ?

Your's looks like a drawing, the one I have been using as reference looks like a photo of a costume.

A kind member here was good enough to take lots of hi res photos for me so I can recreate the whole side art.

just noticed yours is blue! raiden has green jacket on my cab this must have been a a different country release would be interesting to find out!
I need the side arts replacing tho as raiden was beaten up and scratched through trying to drag it though a door by the looks of it by the previous owner.. grrr..

I'm still working on it at the minute as the new pics I received have given me much better assets. I will post up the finished artwork here

I did get a quote to have it printed at printed.com fully laminated vinyl and includes the control panel and replacement art for the control panel box ( so all artwork on the cabinet )

Came out at £135, printed, laminated and delivered.

Could you send me a whole photo of the side of yours ? Would be interesting to see as it looks like a a completely different image they used. not seen it before

not a bad price for all in, my only trouble is the midway sign, its merged into the side art, any ideas how that can be re-generated/ordered?

Just seen it. I have seen that shape before but no idea where it's from.

I can easily make that for you and send you the image. Once I have finished the art completely it wouldn't take ten minutes to do.

Here's the current state of the artwork, as I said, it's almost finished, just finding the time is troublsome !

There are definitely several different versions of the artwork, probably differences in USA/UK build cabs, then UK conversion kits and also a US conversion kit which I think I have the art from below.

This one seems much more colourful and detailed than the others, but is only 750mm high so must be meant to partly cover the sides of a cab.
