wtf is going on. I just had 2 items delivered by them and exactly the same thing happened. The tubes I use are good quality, but these had been completely destroyed. I mean someone would have to stand on them and pull them apart to do the same again.

I won't be sending any more art with them that's for sure. You know I've sent over 145 parcels over all the artwork orders I've done and never had a problem until now.

I got a PCB delivered by them recently and the package arrived open (nothing was missing fortunately so I didn't really feel like I could complain) but it looked like it'd been cut open by someone, it wasn't just "in transit" damage. I really think someone just opened it to see if there was anything valuable inside.

All of these events are very frustrating to hear as I too use MyHermes all the time... and fortunately never had an issue.

But I do want to mention again (as my dad used to work for them up until Christmas) that all their couriers are effectively contractors and this is the same for the majority of the other courier companies... Collect+, Yodel, DPD, Doodle etc even Fedex, UPS and TNT use self employed contractors as well, and so the staff can and sometimes are the same people and are paid by the parcel, not as a salary... some of the guys my dad knew worked for more than one of them to maximise their money income.

Just bear this in mind in case you think you will get a better service or different service anywhere else... I doubt it, unless you are willing to pay alot more for Parcel Force or Fed EX.

I used to use City Link all the time, as they were a good price and I never had any problems with them at all, service was top notch. Shame they went under to be honest!

Yeah, mine were one of the ones sent by muddy that were damaged by MyHerpes. I pointed out the damage to the tube to the woman delivering it, and her response was "yeah well, all the other couriers damage stuff too."

The creases in the posters are light, and you don't really see them now that the posters are in the frames, but it's still a crap attitude to have.

Regarding the other part of the whole thing - the who you book through. Don't use Interparcel unless you're prepared to just accept whatever goes. I had two parcels "delivered" by UPS within two days of each other. I use the term "delivered" loosely because instead of delivering them to my door the UPS guy took it upon himself to just drop them off at the local drop-off point.

Now I'll admit that wasn't much of a hardship, the drop-off point is the corner shop at the bottom of my road, but I only found out AFTER we'd stayed in all day and then on checking I happened to notice the parcel had been delivered. Fortunately I recognised the name of the person that works in the corner shop.

So anyway, so far nothing to do with InterParcel. One of these was out of my control, it was ordered by the sender, the other one however I ordered and supplied the sellers address as the pickup, mine as the delivery. And there's a £2.80 difference between delivery to my door or the corner shop so I registered my request for a refund on the difference. Long story short, after a couple of weeks of being fobbed off by someone at IP all responses eventually stopped and they have been added to my list of people never to do business with.

f**king joke that they seem to think that it's acceptable to deliver when and where they feel like, yet happily charge you for a specific service and timescale!

So bloody annoying ain't it muddy

I as so pissed off with them damaging electrical items, never dreamt they could even damage a flippin poster

Was fast and furious 7 one, so they have cost me £7.50, either it's been stood on or they drop sh*t on them.

Tell ya what I'm going to start doing, ask sellers who they post with from now on, if they say My Hermes, I shall tell them I'll buy from else where, if they tell me another courier and it turns up from Hermes I will Neg them or refuse to accept the parcel

Just so fed up of it now
