I have often thought about writing a little game for android... especially with the simplicity of alot of games now like Flappy Bird.

So how difficult is it and what background did you have in doing it before these two..?

BouncyBouncy had this background nicked from Google before I decided that a 'Tron' theme would look better

as for Whack Ack, those little furry creatures were stand-in characters for another game I'm currently working on. I figured they lived in a cave, and voila! here's how the cave looks before I used the Cutout plugin in Photoshop and then shifting the colours to an orangy brown:

to be honest, these aren't just my games I'm merely the game designer and artist. The code-monkey lives in the basement.

Is it easy to get them published on Android..?

seems to be easy. the guy who codes the game uploads it to a hosting site, and then sends it off to Google Play, and then a few hours later it's ready for all to play. Doesn't cost anything.

App Store is more difficult. You have to pay a subscription fee, and you have to wait around a week for them to review it.

If you're in it for the money, the App Store is where it's at.
