well my games room is still there, but I have just started major strip
downs for the 2 pinballs ( new art etc ) and am changing a few games (
2 have gone )and will be replacing them when I finish the pins.
THough I did end up buying a battlezone cabaret yesterday

Still looking for a Tehkan world cup cab and now need a 13 inch monitor
for my gorf cabaret if people have any thing

Wales meet 2.0 took place in summer but no-one from UKVAC came all
Jamma + people.

No problems holding 3.0 this summer or at any stage really...even got
Guitar Heroes II for the PS3 for all people that way inclined.

I wouldnt say that.... At least half of us who turned up are members
of both UKVAC and J+ !, Not sure about Hammy and Vic ??

Glad you got the Battlezone in the Astra Hatch Back ok (presumably !!)

I'm taking a new pin on next week... Will have to move the Sega
Rally... Whose leg levelers have probably take root in the carpet by
now.

Its great to see some old faces/names who I havent heard of in a good
couple of years (and some more recent ones) posting reporting for
duty...

Look forward to trying to get a pass out to attend any meets.... (Hey

So you guys have gathered I'm still here too.... Ran out of space a
Long time ago, its quite a small house too, but still managing to
squeeze machines in now and again (Need to shuffle some in/out of my
garage like Tron and get to work on it)

Think the problem with the hobby, if once you kind of reach almost
critical mass and the cat swinging radius has shrunken far too much,
you actually loose some of the enthusiasm as the things then become
difficult to manage and work on... Not as enthusiastic as I was when
I only had half a dozen machines to tinker with...

I can identify with that. I have lots of enthusiasm for the hobby now
that I have only 2 cabs and no associated boxes of crap.

I have even more fun with pinballs and I don't have ANY of them any more.

The ATEI was a great UKVAC success (joke). I saw Smurf, Lee Taylor (+
missus) and I heard there was ore or two others there also, but I
never saw them. Another great UKVAC tradition dies quietly...

You've got your work cut, Mr. Fish, but I'm right behind you ;-)

Hey, what about we create a proper credit card sized laminated UKVAC
membership card with photo, make it real authentic looking and stuff.

I've got a dye-sub ID card printer, prints direct onto credit card
sized PVC card. Can print anything you like, UKVAC, WC90 appreciation
society. Makes real good fake IDs, that don't look like a 12 year old
has made them in his bedroom.

Though I am feeling old enough to prefer the smoking jacket and
slippers idea right now.
