Why would Brent Leisure only have the schemes? Just curious. Were they the sole importer/distributor for that game.
Why is it not important to preserve history by keeping things running. It becomes blindingly obvious that at a certain point, manufacturers figured out there was more money in service charges than interest in having operators repair things.
Try KLOV if you can, it was worldwide distro so someone in a territory should have a set.
Otherwise, sadly, your only option is to reverse engineer the layers by looking for common components and figuring out where they go to/from in relation to CPU's and known sections.
Someone actually did this I believe for Ghosts And Goblins because C(r)apcom decided that to prevent bootlegging they'd mask the traces. Didn't the bootleggers clone the board and then deliberately flood the market with mass amounts of them to stick a finger up at the manufacturer or something like that.
There seemed to be a lot of call and response between the manufacturers and the bootleg makers - the real clone wars
