Hi Guyz,

Getting back into the HandHels Console again..

and noticed my son updated the Consoles Firmware to ver 1.4.5e

Now R$ Cart wont work...

www.R4I-SDHC.COM advises to flash Cart with V1.80b software..

Having done this I get this message on screen..

An error has occurred.

Press and hold the POWER Button...blah blah blah...

Id appreciate any info..

did you update the software that the card uses, or the card's firmware?

Did he use he right version of the software as there are regional, model and card variants... make sure you get the right one for the card and model that you have and re-update it..?

There's that too, and all the fake R4 cards that are floating around. It's a bloody mine field.

Yep as previous thread..
Website shows as...http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp

Shows my card R4i V1.4 and informs me to download firmware V1.80b...

Card is an original...

But me thinks the website is actually WRONG...

I've read that V1.4 is NOT actually upgradable...

and I will have to invest in yet another fookin Card..

Gunna try a different Manufacture!!

I had this error with one of my cards, it was a fake card! ( used the web addy on the card for firmware)

The DSTWO card is the best IMHO! Still works on 3ds.

Found this......“Products labeled “V1.4” do not support NDSI V1.4.1 hardware upgrade temporarily, please do not upgrade your NDSI to V1.4.1 version. We are solving this issue.We feel terribly sorry for any inconvenience it may cause.”[/b]
