Need to find specific issue of EDGE

I'm trying to identify an issue of EDGE magazine that has a certain article in it - i.e. the results of the 1st anniversary Net Yaroze competition. It will be an issue from late '97 to early '98.

Is there an online version of EDGE I can look through (no luck googling for one)? If not, could someone with these issues in their collection have a quick flick through, please? I think it'll be listed on the contents page, so probably no need to look right through all the mags.

I think there's a couple of places that may have them, however I don't have the links to hand, I do however have a sh*t load of edge magazines so if I can find that era of them I can have a look at some point.

I did have the issue concerned, but think it must have got binned in my Great Old Mag Purge that I did about 10 years ago. Had a load of early '80s mags like C&VG, Crash etc. All went into the local paper bank.

I know. Had them lying around for years taking up space. Obviously regret binning them now.

I just wanted a copy of EDGE for nostalgic reasons.

What mag is that scan from? It refers to another comp I won (GDUK, 20 years ago!) after the EDGE one. I've seen it before but can't remember the mag.

I did have a copy of the mags I was in, but they got water damaged in storage, so it's possible the copy of EDGE was badly damaged and I binned it. Really can't remember.

Ah. The comp was to celebrate the Yaroze having been out for a year, so I guess the issue I'm after is the one that came a year after issue 41. Issue 53, or there abouts I guess.

Think that's the wrong one. Seller says it's May, but the mag says June on the cover.

I still have my Yaroze somewhere. I had a lot of fun with it (plus learned a ton about game dev). I remember the community on the Sony forum being really friendly (much like VAC), and I definitely remember playing Blitter Boy extensively. Did you give out the source at some point?

Anyway I might have that copy of Edge as I've tried to keep mags that reference the Yaroze. I'll have a look and if I do you can have it
