Nintendo 3ds xl emulation question

Hi guys I have a 3ds xl and want to use it to emulate MAME and other classic systems like SNES and mega drive.
I know I need a r4 card, but I’m not sure which one? Any tips guys?
Also do I need anything else? I already have the Roms etc

I’d rather not flash it guys. I’m terrible at this tech stuff.

Https://www.r4isdhc.com is where I look at what is out so go for a 2021 set up. I can't see the differences anywhere but maybe the 2021 white dual core. I have successfully used 64 gb sandisk micro sdcards with my gold Pro. With internal menu they tend to see only 300 folders. On older cards I have used a different menu. My personal set up is just over 32gb. Mine still mess up now and again and I just recopy all the games and folders back over and tends to last a while. I. I would suggest a UK ebay seller as cheap as chips

Any advice on setting up emulators and games.
Do I i need to download anything??
