The current issue of retro GAMER issue 160 has some NES Classic Mini content within.

I'm sharing my purchased copy with my fwends here virtually,
on my favourite English language home arcading message board a la
playground style of old:

I don't think you should be positing links to copyrighted material in the forum mate.

Already idiots trying to sell them for £119.99 on ebay

Are these things really worth getting all hyped up over though when you can just own the real thing, can't imagine the fad will last long before everyone is selling them back on ebay when bored

Its nice that nintendo are selling it but you can play all the games on emulators already so really don't seem much point, having said that, I think I would just buy it for the case, stick a PI in it

Save you doing this, though to be fair what that guy has done is far better

Got one of these on pre-order. Happy to sell it on for 200 squids if anyone's desperate (kidding!). The proof of this pudding will obviously be in the quality of the emulation. What I'm excited about is the plug and play via hdmi with overlays to simulate CRT visuals on LCD. Gonna plug it in to my big telly and immerse myself in 1980s Nintendo goodness. Much as I would love a fully stoked NES collection, it wouldn't be able to do that.

And the everdrive cost another ? 70 quid? So you spent 150 quid and got real hardware and unlimited games. No denying that's a tempting proposition. But for casual gaming on an lcd, it's also a lot less tempring than a 50 quid all in one solution...

Ordered from Argos, still awaiting delivery, does anyone know when they are supposed to be released?

I ordered mine from Argos just after they sold out on Amazon. Got a text soon afterwards to say that delivery was delayed until 11/11/16 'at the latest'.

Got my dispatch email from Amazon

Glad I ordered when they were pretty much announced since they seem to be sold out everywhere!

Also got a longer HDMI cable since the controller cable is ridiculously short!

I've been getting spammed with texts from Argos since Tuesday telling me to expect delivery on release day. Fingers, eyes and everything else crossed that its there waiting for me when I get back from work...
