Walked straight into Sainsburys and picked one up off the shelf. Will be popping back tomorrow though for a grumble as it was 59.99 instead of 49.99. didn't clock that with all the other groceriesMilky2016-11-11 16:35:57

but got into the office yesterday and had a quick blast with it
nice bit of kit
boots up quick
slick
shuts down quick
but its not instant like an original nes!
the cables are far too short!!

Where can I get an extra controller from, I never saw these available at the time of preorder for the console, are they in the shops or what?

Game do them for 7.99 I think. Knowing Nintendo and their supply logic, they'll have thousands of controllers available

It's great. However someone either needs to produce an extension cable for the controller or they need to extend the leads from factory as they are ridiculously short.

Agree about the controller cable. Bizarrely short. Another place Nintendo missed a trick is with the molded shut slot cover. Imagine they'd hinged it and hidden an sd slot in there for upgrades etc. Who wouldn't have paid more for that?

The interface is great though, and the games look, sound and play great. Well, as great as you would expect home console games from 1986 to play!

If anyone wants a free (i'll send 2nd class) clone Nintendo Classic controller that works on this (made for the Wii). Home button also works apparently, let me know, it's a bit clicky compared a genuine classic controller and the cord is also short at just over 3ft, still it could be used as a secondary controller

It's going to the charity shop Monday otherwise :)

Cheers, Rich
