Great to see something finally happening in the South West, and up the road from me at that!! Sadly, this is the weekend of Crash Live in Kenilworth and I'm already signed up to go to that so won't be able to make it to what is basically a local meet (I'm in Minehead), otherwise I'd be there. If the people I'm going to Crash with can't make it for any reason (illness or whatever), then I'll come along.

I'm pretty much looking to sell up and just keep the couple of cabs that I have left and stuff required to keep them going. I don't have a complete list but I can put one together if anyone was interested. I'm sure we could work out getting stuff to you somehow. Really does depend on roadworks as to whether I go past Bridgwater on my way to the motorway or not (at the moment, probably not 🤣)

On a separate note, I keep saying I must get up to Timewarp, and yet somehow never do! This would have been a great opportunity.

Sadly we went thru a load of dates and this one was not conflicting with anything except Crash. I am usually involved with the Amiga side of Zzap Live, so I know it can be a busy day at Kenilworth but with that, we not said too much over the last few weeks but we got some ideas. Stoo has been invited to appear on the 10p podcast next time, so hopefully he have more news about what we are doing and maybe find out about his favourite biscuits.

Hey folks, I'm the Head Repair Technician at Timewarp Arcade and have been running TW for years with Stuart the owner (I tend to be a ninja and work in the shadows).

We are really looking forward to everyone visiting. Thank you @DaveR for sharing some directions and travel details above.

Here is a link to our website that has a fair bit of information on how to get to us: Timewarp Arcade - Find Us.

Also here is a link to our Google Profile.

I live locally in Bridgwater (about 5 minute walk from TW) so if anyone needs any help on the day or in advance please feel free to reach out to me on Discord @luka4233 or Facebook Messenger @lukauk.

I will be around on the day and will have to pop back to check on kids with the grandparent every now and then.

Timewarp Arcade - Event Page

Hoping I can still make this one, would be great to have a walkthrough of some of the projects @Luka , who knows you may end up getting some parts donated as a result 🤷‍♂️

Edit - Pinged you on discord too 👍

Are there still tickets available for this?
There wont be a physical ticket... we asked for payments online as then it gives us an idea of how many to prepare for...
I have found a handful saying 'we pay on the day' which is fine.

The place can hold 100ish over two floors, so we are trying are best .

Am I going to be a pain if I leave this too late?
Work is being an huge focus, and I've not really done ANYTHING for my private life in months ... so this'd be good, but I'd understand if me not doing the filling of forms / buying of tickets just yet is a pain in the ain for anyone.

Thanks for everyone that has paid, you will be able to pay on the door but it helps us gauge interest.

This is the first time Stoo has had the UKVAC party at his ARCADE but it will be an honour to meet those behind the usernames here. Timewarp is one of the longest running freeplay based arcades in the country, it has grown from a few machines into what it is today. From a collectors point of view, you will find many games you might have not seen for a while and in recent years we started balancing out the arcade to a younger audience too. Stoo has been keen to keep prices affordable for families and the established gamer, there is also a bonus of Timewarp Shop (Formerly called Insane Games) right behind the building wher you can trade / buy games if your a collector,

The shop compliments the arcade, anything that is purchased here goes toward the running of both places with quite a selection games, warhammer, pokemon pop, march and board games.twshop.JPG

I've paid for a ticket, I've not spoken to anyone on here but I have been listening to the Ten Pence podcast for the pat 9/10 years so I may have interacted some of you on Twitter or through the feedback or high score posts.

It would be rude not to come down being based in Bristol.

I have visited the arcade 2 or three times in the past but I've not been since the second floor was opened up.

I look forward to meeting some of you.
