[ukvac] OT: Component Video (was Re: gorf amp)
RGB is component video .. eg each has its own component... Next we
have the SVHS which has separate Chromo / Lumo .. then theres the
composite video that combines the chromo / lumo into one signal which
is worse again....
So were getting our composite video mixed up with our component video.
So YES... Component Video is the BEST way matey....
From the WEB...
Component Video. The separate Red, Green and Blue signals that are
normally combined in the composite video signal. As separate signals,
they can directly drive a monitor without the need for the normal
combining and later separation to avoid the signal degradation of
that added processing.
