Re: [ukvac] OT: Xbox USB question
I haven't tried anything like that on my xbox, I use a USB keyboard on mine,
but I have a friend that tried using a keyboard and mouse on the same port
using a hub and found that some software didn't work. Using the keyboard and
mouse on seperate ports seemd to work fine though.

It depends on what you want to use it for. We are forbidden by
Microsoft from linking in the keyboard libraries on final release code.
The title won't (or shouldn't) get through the submission process.

It wont work paul, they don't even work on all pc's...

Just hack your xbox and add some usb slots to the back :) I've done it..
just use the small backplane usb connecters you get with some system
boards that fit into a card slot and then attach to the system board via
a cable, failing that order a xbox to usb adapter from liksang..

I somehow doubt it's for using MS approved software ;-)

*cough* don't know what you mean! Just got a few things I'd like to try
out, Scumm for instance. I know I can use the PC to play it, but hell
Monkey Island would be so much better to play on my 36" widescreen TV!
Might even give Xbox-Linux a go now you can use it off a CD and it
doesn't destroy your entire F drive.

Gudd... One thing I *really* want to play on the Xbox is 7th Guest!
Remember that? ;o)

Thanks everyone for the help! Think I'm going to just buy two Xbox->USB
converters, guess they're not that expensive.
