I won't be selling these babies, they took forever to get hold of

There's tonnes of other consoles and games that I just can't justify keeping so will probably sell them. I'll post those once I've made the decision and fought back the tears

You should open an Atari museum, ive never seen so many boxed games in such fantastic condition, you put my collection to shame!

Nah, the camera can be a big fat liar when it wants. Some (night driver, video Olympics, pacman) are really faded on the spines. Some are badly crushed too. It's very difficult to source good boxes now as you can see on ebay - the boxed/unboxed ratio must be about 80/20 now on there

Great collection, love the old gatefold boxes

Looks like we have been collecting the same things, probably bidding against each other

Yup. It's ntsc and unboxed hence why it was banished to the darkness of the loft.

I have three Atari shipping cartons up there with the red box games inside too...

Ive had some absolute bargains off evilbay, I got my boxed woody and about 15 unboxed games for £20.00!!!!
Why people put gems like that for collection only i'll never understand, it was only in Nottingham. A cheeks 50 minutes drive and I was more than happy.

Then on the other foot I cant get a copy of Gyruss for the 2600 for love nor money, there's a few US imports out there but they cost loads and I seriously doubt they'd play on the PAL systems ( ive heard somewhere that some carts will ).

Seriously though, fantastic collection, so so jealous.

If I wasn't building a new jamma machine (if I ever get it done due to me being thick) Id start getting bid happy on line again.

Im lucky as I always have at least 1 JR 2600 plugged in around the house.... I'm currently playing Berzerk

Had another pop at clearing out the man cave; another 7 boxes, but well over half way there now

I am starting to think this won't all fit in the loft without overstressing the joists, so not quite sure what to do ow

I am really hopeful this is short term as the garage conversion (should) give me the room needed. Currently, the wife needs room as shec's gone self-employed as a beauty therapy trainer (have you seen how big those rotten treatment couched are!?) and the boy needs the larger bedroom so my needs are (rightly) a lower priority for now...

I'll have the last laugh when the Duke mural goes up though
