I need to send something that's:

2.8Kg
36cm x 26cm x 28cm
Insured for £150

So far I've tried:
Royal Mail
Parcelfarce
Interparcel
Parcel2Go

And I can't seem to get it under about £16. Anyone got any other (sensible) suggestions?

I would have like to have got it to the recipient by Thursday but as I've got to go out now I'm pushing it.

Thanks,
Martin.

Those are the usual suspects I would try, can't imagine you would get it much cheaper, its the added insurance (to £150) thats pushing the price up.

Cheers for the confirmation at least. I kinda begrudge paying an extra fiver just to get it insured for £150. It's like they're too afraid to insure it for that as they're really not confident then can deliver it successfully !

Actually, scrub that. Parcel Monkey are nice and cheap, however when you click on the "Accepted Goods" link it shows you that almost anything electrical, or certainly computer related is only accepted on a "No Compensation" basis. So no good at all.

Anyway, sent via UPS in the end using Interparcel.

Seemed quite reasonable though aside from that. And let's face it, it's not uncommon to be shifting stuff for little more than the price of shipping in this hobby
