PayPal advice

Hi all,

Is it possible to get your money back from PayPal if you send as a gift? I bought something off eBay and the seller only sent half of what I paid for and what I got was faulty.

I know I should have paid through eBay but like most of us I wanted to save on fees and get a good deal.

Paypal gift is the same as handing over a wadge of 20s.

There is no comeback at all.

If your paypal account is linked to a credit card pretty sure you can do a charge back on the credit card?

But paypal hasn't ripped you off, so they'll just say no.

Never pay with paypal gift, whomever it is. You have zero comeback. Pay paypal goods and add 4% to cover their fees

+1 exactly. In future ( I know it doesn't help with your problem now ) ask seller that you pay the 4% and pay as goods. A good seller should agree.
