Perspex online

Hi, can anyone recommend a good online seller for perspex? I’m looking for a solid black one, rectangular but custom length/width for a cover for my fish tank.

Seen a few retailers online but seem quite expensive (£60-£70), but maybe that’s just the going rate these days? I know I could get plain Perspex and paint it, but I’m lazy.

Also, @cools , the plasticonline site appears to be down, currently. Hope they're OK and it is just a site outage ... I didn't do a Companies House search.

There the only company I've used for plastics than manage to cut it right and get it to you even posted without damaging it, I've used quite a few local ones one is plasticsonline and collected from them and they even manage to supply it with scratches all over the protective film and when peeled it off some areas are so bad it's scratched into the plastic
Not just me either local ones, my brother ordered some and had it delivered and driver was at his door with it, was all scratched up so he told him to take it back and get them to bring some not damaged

2 objectives if your a plastics supplier. Cut it to size asked for and don't scratch it, many fail on 1 or the other or both many but Trent Plastics never had an issue with a few orders in the past

Yep Acrylic Sheet or Look at Polycarbonate as well but isn't cheap these days

When I was sourcing some 4mm sheet for my secondary glazing I got lucky with seller on ebay, in Gloucester area, he's got building full of sheets, selling it pretty cheap but it's not perfect condition wise, I got 3 sheets the right size I needed to cut down for the 3 windows, there big 1500x750 I think and I had to cut to 1250x690 or there abouts, the sheets had stickers on from Wickes that cost about £70 each and I got the 3 for £30 I think it was, the next 3 I needed for front bedroom New from another Local supplier, they came with as many scratches as the £30 sheets so it's another local one I'll never use again, he was on ebay and cost me about £60 ish each

This is very reassuring. Sadly, seems a rarity these days.

I had a bespoke order for a couple of pieces. Items were well packaged, not scratched and cut exactly to order.

Make sure you order direct from their website and not via their eBay store. Prices are a lot cheaper direct on their website.
