what if there was a pinball based on maru the cat or jiff pom?
are there any computer pinball construction kits out there that'd allow you to build your own virtual pinball and then play them? that'd be pretty fun, no? can't be that hard...?

The Princess Bride film would make a great pinball theme
Fencing, Fighting, Torture, Revenge, Giants, Monsters, Chases, Escapes, True Love, Miracles. With loads of comedy moments and good music.
If you've never heard of the film before, I highly recommend you watch it.
If you have children, watch it with them, it's a great family friendly film they will love. I've watched it dozens of times and it's always great.
Don't watch the Youtube Trailer for this film, it is really badly done and doesn't do the film justice.
Grab some popcorn, and curl up on the sofa to watch this, you wont regret it.

Yes, that's pretty much exactly what you can do with visual pinball & future pinball.
Monkey Island was made with visual pinball, I had a bunch of original ideas but this was the only one I fully completed, these included aliens, mouse trap, domino rally, Pin-Jay (modern deejay style), DK country, lego, etc. etc.
Loads of commercial tables haven been done with these as well as original creations, I made Doctor Who with Future Pinball although I never managed to iron out the bugs 100%

People of a certain age will no doubt remember pinball construction kit on the Amiga etc... these programs are like that but much more flexible.

Plenty of different tasks... Dead Parrot Toy which hangs upside down on its perch (Hit, Kill it, getting a different quote each time until its deceased) , BlackMail 'o' meter , Find the Holy Grail (chop the knights limbs off), Life of Brian (work up from Carpenter level) , Spam (collect the menu items to get the spam song), Feed Mr Croesote ending up with the wafer thin mint, Funny Walks (collect the set to get the funny walk mutiball ) and the ball gets squashed by the boot, Lumber Jack Song Level (collect the varous items such as chop down trees, eat my lunch, lavatory, womens clothing, buttered scones and it then plays the whole song), Grannies, Spanish inquisition, Lots more, etc....

i love fantasy themes so Game of thrones is going to be very tempting. i imagine it will have an optional dragon topper for $250 or some mad figure
