Hello All,

As you may or may not know, I help out at a Museum on
Sundays.

The museum is the Retro Computer Museum, in Thurmaston,
Leicester, and has large a collection of computer and games systems, and
software dating as far back as 1955!

We are dedicated to keeping the old systems running,
including favourites like the Commodore 64, and the Sinclair ZX Spectrum and a
Virtuality Machine, to name 3 out of 100`s that we have!

To help raise money for the charity that is the `RCM`, we
have organised a `24 hour Gameathon`, where people who have signed up will be
playing retro games for 24 hours from noon on Saturday 7[sup]th[/sup] June,
till noon on Sunday 8[sup]th[/sup] June.

The `rules` are to play at least each of the 12 listed games
for the event, such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Tetris, Space Invaders and Pac-Man,
for a minimum of 15 minutes each, with the rest to the time for free-play on
any game available.

The last hour – if we are still conscious, we will be
contesting in a 10-player `Bomber-Man` knockout on a Sega Saturn, via a large screen
projector.

To Sponsor me – to raise money for the Museum, please visit:

Please don’t think of it as sponsoring me to `play games` ,
but as sponsoring the museum! (I`m NOT really a game player anyway)

If you decide not to sponsor me, please at least make a
donation to the Museum at :

Regards

Simon

Thanks for sponsoring me!
All money goes towards helping keeping the doors open at the museum, as do all the donations we have, as well as aid the hopeful expansion that is desperately needed!
