Whereabouts in the Lakes? I was up at my parents in Penrith last week for a few days.

Keswick. Beautiful place. Just returned after a couple fo days. Very relaxed

Yeh, Keswick is nice and relaxing, I often drive the g/f and myself there when were in Penrith, nice drive long the A66 in the FTO as well (tho my g/f doesn't agree..hehe)

Did you go along the old railway line walk? Did part of it last week ,parked up at Threlkeld and walked along towards Keswick but didn't have enough time to get there and back.

No, I didn't do that. Not been there before, so the only walking we did was near the Lake
