Q*Bert multi kit is GREAT!

Hello All

Picked up a Mike Doyle Q*Bert multi kit, arrived yesterday. Easy to install and adds Q*Bert Qubes plus some other versions of Q*Bert. I highly reccomend this..

Anyone else ordered this yet?

Do I get shot for saying I don't like Q*Bert

It is still better than Double Dragon 3 and Street Fighter - The Movie though

I do like the idea behind these style of mods though I think the SI one is a great idea.

I had the kit - was really good - much better than the other kit that existed prior to this. I think Mark Spaeth had something to do with this also - or Dave Widel - one of the two.

Sold my Q*Bert about 6 years back though.

Yes, I got the kit also, still waiting for it to get here in the mail

I do need a PCB, unless I can get it to work on a bootleg

I'd be interested to know if it works on a bootleg. The arrangement of the ROMs looks the same.

I did ask mike on the forum on two occasions, but got no reply to the question.

So it remains to try it

Just found a Q*Bert board in an obscure place

It is a Faster more challenging PCB, but the seller says it's the same PCB with different ROMS, so since all the ROMS get changed anyway, it will do.

All I need is a QB sound board now, probably will be harder to get than the Main CPU
