Question: What's the best Williams game?

never used to like roby, although it's growing on me now I have it in a cab. so may just become my vote for best williams Vid.

williams just seem to like games that need weird controls!

bit of an update on this thread

My fav Williams is between Defender and Robotron...

I used to play more Defender as a kid as the arcades in Leeds didn't have a Robotron.The only place that had one i could play was Scarborough.Saying that there was an Indian takaway in Lower Briggate (to anyone who know's Leeds) that had a Robotron in but not for long.Also the Leeds Collage of Building on North Street (i did my Joinery apprenticship there) had one in their canteen for a few mths in the late 80's...but apart from that it was mainly Defender that was around the Leeds arcades....

So i suppose i should go Defender really but Robotron is a really close second

I like Defender, who doesn't??? But for me as sad as it is my favourite Williams game is Narc, such an awesome game in it's day and something that'd probably never see the light of day nowadays with the PC crowd probably not allowing people to throw syringes full of drugs at ya

My fave is Sinistar by a long way - just so damn challenging, one game you can get a couple of hundred thousand, the next 50,000, theres no telling...

Other than that, Bubbles and Moon Patrol, whilst I love defender it is just too hard and too many buttons, and Robotron i just can't seem to improve on no matter what i do so i find it boring getting to the same point each game...

Sinistar is a great game and a lovely looking cab but again that's another Williams treasure that wasn't in any of the arcades in Leeds so sadly i never played it much BITD
