Those RS232-RS422 adapters work, make sure they are wired correctly
TXD+ --> Pin 8 Motor Bd (RX-)
TXD- --> Pin 7 Motor Bd (RX+)
RX+ --> Pin 6 Motor Bd (TX-)
RX- --> Pin 5 Motor Bd (TX+)
TXD+ --> Pin 8 Motor Bd (RX-)
TXD- --> Pin 7 Motor Bd (RX+)
RX+ --> Pin 6 Motor Bd (TX-)
RX- --> Pin 5 Motor Bd (TX+)

Also in respect to the reset button on the ffb motor driver board …
When is it applicable ?

Reset button, resets the motor board to initial state (think of the reset button on your PC) - it puts global power levels, etc all to the default settings.
There is an LED on board.
the LED flashes red - which indicates, the board is on and waiting for communication, once communication is made, it will be solid red.

Yeh I have a Constant red flashing led
Waiting to connect Só could be not getting commands from lindbergh .
Só flashing red I guess at least is a good sign

I have an option I. Have not yet tried .
I have managed from 2 non working Lindberghs now made a working on the bench at least a working booting rtuned lindbergh .
I have so far only used a Marco multi Lindbergh to test the ffb in cabinet x2
Across both cabs .
Só on my return home I will be testing the Lindy with r tuned booting . To see if this one wakes the ffb up!

Regarding the ground loop on the ffb motor driver pcb

That was normally omitted in uk but included in usa .
Is this because the wall sockets in usa & Europe don’t carry a ground ? 🧐
And do require the separate grounding as an extra option if you like ?
As uk plug brings the ground to the cabinet chasiss ( shared Earth )
