RadarScope Red paint code

The Dk machine I am building is going to be painted RadarScope red.

Does anyone have the exact paint code for this red?

I know a member on here is lucky enough to have a Radarscope converted Dk - have you taken a small bit of it to home base to get it colour matched at all?

If so, do they have codes for their mixes?

I'll take that to home base and see if they can make sense of it.

They can't make sense of much, so it'll be a bit of an ask..

That's me with the red DK, I wasn't able to take a sample to get it colour matched, in the end I just touched it up with the chips with the closest matching red from their colour charts. There were some other restoration threads I found on an American site , where they had a code but it wasn't compatible with what they do here unfortunately

Morgym - can you tell me the code you used from the home base swatch you used, please (or name of the shade)

It's was dulux -volcanic splash 3 it's pretty close , I'd say slightly darker than dk red , the finish on the dk cab is Formica so it's not quite gloss, but definitely not matt. If you have a CPO the colour of the background red is very close to the cab colour.

That's exactly how I used to do it...used to load the cabs up (empty) and take the sack trucks with me to the paint shop. Unload the cab, wheel it in....the guys used to match the paint, I loaded up, paid.... and drove away....job done! Got some weird looks that's for sure!
