In fairness, I did think it was a bit nippy when I was walking home from work this evening (from the shed to the house!). Think it's meant to be below freezing generally around here (Exmoor) this evening, but specifically where I am is escaping it. Should only go down to 1C as we're on the coast so protected by the warm air coming off the sea.
Having said that, I remember one year (maybe last, but I think the one before) when next door crashed her car. She managed it because in the high street (she's a taxi driver) there wasn't a whiff of snow, she came back to the house - literally no more than half a mile away and because we're up a hill we had snow. She parked up in the street (remember, hill!), put the hand brake on and while going to get her husband to take over watched as the car just slid down into someone else's car.
That was bizarre weather. Thankfully it was the car above mine
